Check the Discord channels

Head to #member-joined or #trial in the GREED Committees Discord to find new, returning, or trial members who need a welcome.

— Make sure Discord notifications are turned on so you don’t miss anyone. —

Claim them with an emoji

React to the player’s name post with an emoji so other committee members know you’ve got this one covered. No doubles!

Pick the right message type & send it

Use the Copy Pastas page to grab the right template and customize to your personality or write your own if you’d like!

Check their nickname

Go to #meet-and-greet in the main GREED Discord and verify their Discord nickname matches their in-game name. If it doesn’t, send the nickname reminder message.

Post in #checked-in

Leave a note in the #checked-in channel in the GREED Committees Discord. Include:

• Player’s name
• Date of welcome
• Welcome type (new / returning / trial)
• Nickname status (matches or needs update)
• Any additonal info as needed

Did they reply?

If they respond, go back to your original #checked-in post and edit it with the date (if different) and a summary of the conversation. Useful details to note:

• Birth Month
• Highest level 
• MSQ progress 
• Events interest 
• Other notes
